I Care

When you leave for school every single morning, I care.

When you come home and decide to leave and go to your friends house or stay out past your curfew I care.

When you come at me and say that you hate me I still care, because you are my one and only, so no matter what I will always be with you and look out for you until I draw my last breath. You see I am a parent and a parent has to look out for their children and at times we have to show you tough love so that you can survive on your own in the big world.

I may be the one you hate now but once you get older you will thank me for everything that I am doing, so just remember that no matter how old you get or where you go I will still care.
